What does low output mean?  There are two problems I personally  have with Goldobin's game.

1.  If anyone even looks at him wrong, he coughs up the puck.

2.  He makes terrible low percentage against the flow of play passes.

If he mans up, and learns to protect the puck, take it to the places on the ice from where he wants to distribute and shoot the puck, he becomes a bonafide star in this league.  If he simplifies his distribution game, and makes smarter higher percentage plays, he actually sticks in the league.   Giving away the puck with those against the grain blue line passes for little to no reason, is going to get him a 1 way ticket to the KHL and the sooner he realizes this, the better.

When talking about how EP sees the ice, JB also stated that Goldy sees the ice in a similar manner, meaning he sees the ice much better than most players, which has quite a lot of value. He also makes a lot of quick, accurate passes, which also has plenty of value. He needs to cut down on the bad plays and get stronger on the back check, but he does not have to be something he's not and his package has plenty of value, as not a lot of guys can play at his level, which will always be worth putting up with a certain number of mistakes. He will either become a long term player for us or he will have good trade value. He really only has to cut down on the mistakes a bit and he'll be good, we've already seen a lot of development.

If you are another GM do you want any Canucks players? Obviously Pettersson, Horvat, Boeser, Juolevi, and Hughes are not on the table. So what's there to trade for that helps? It's easy to complain.

Sutter 100%. Edler to an extent, as I'm sure a new system would help the guy a lot. Tanev as well.

So early in the season for a must win.

The Preds have good dmen that can make the first pass and they play puck possession a lot, carry the puck in  over the line. The Canucks D are chipping the puck out or rushing with it, they take a lot of chances trying to pinch the forwards are playing a lot of dump and pray. While the forwards do press quickly with the D pinching the team will tire as the game goes on as this is a very high energy system.

Injuries as an excuse are ridiculous, Anaheim and the Preds have more to top echelon players.

The Nucks could run off 8 W's in a row at some point in the season hopefully not the end when it takes them up 4 or 5 spots in the standings.

The players will play hard.

Preds should win so the Nucks are likely to.

I think this game will be the real test of what we are able to do if we stay healthy for the rest of the season. We have effectively subbed Leivo for Sven and Beagle is back with a game under his belt. Edler has bedded back in and maybe Pouliot is better than MDIZ'R.

The Preds are a tough team and have solid goalkeeping. It will be a desperate struggle but I have a feeling we are up for it.

4-2 Canucks.

Good GDT.

Canucks are healthier than the Predators with only Baertschi and Sutter injured.  Nashville will be missing Forsberg, Arvidsson, Turris and Subban.  They are probably not going to be as aggressive offensively with so many key guys missing:

We win the injury stats tonight

Let's begin with minor victories

Eriksson helps Pettersson with what? Tying his skates before the game? Driving him to IKEA on off days?

Well, 4 of the Preds top 10 point-getters are out, so the Canucks have a chance. They just need to figure out how to score on Rinne.

VAN - 5

NSH - 4

Its not really a complaint , more of a discussion. I watch and cheer the team on no matter what.

I think that players like Sutter , Tanev , Edler , Baer And maybe even Guddy would bring some sort of return. Second and third round picks. Not sure Edler will even allow a trade. Maybe if they make it clear that they have no intentions on resigning him.
