Alex Edler: 9 Pts (2G, 7A) in his last eleven games, despite not getting on the scoreboard in the last three. Who’s Not: Pretty much everyone else, but specifically (in no particular order): Jake Virtanen: No points in past 8 games, despite playing a responsible 200ft game. Nikolay Goldobin: Scratched a few times this month, and has only recorded 2 assists in his last 8 games. Loui Eriksson: Another 8 Game pointless streak from Dec 22nd to present, with his last goal coming Dec 20th against St. Louis. Markus Granlund: No points in 8 games, his last point (1A) recorded on Dec 20th against St. Louis. Who to Watch for: Adam Gaudette: Scored his 3rd goal of the season on his first game back from the AHL. Currently has 7 pts (4G, 3A) in 7 GP while on assignment in Utica. Watch for him to carry that momentum into the next game. Bo Horvat: Scored the GWG in Florida on Oct 13th. Watch for him to rebound from his slump (1G, 3A in last ten games) and make an impact tonight. The Power Play: Although they didn't score a goal in Arizona, had 9 shots on 2 power play chances. Watch for them to get some bounces! Sick Bay: Elias Pettersson: Sprained MCL, placed on IR on January 3rd, eligible to play as early as tonight, but likely day to day. Josh Leivo: Upper body injury, placed on IR on January 3rd, has yet to practice but still considered day to day. The Other Guys Top 5 Scorers: Jonathan Huberdeau: 12G-35A-47P in 43 GP Aleksander Barkov: 17G-27A-44P in 43 GP Mike Hoffman: 21G-19A-39P in 43 GP Evgenii Dadonov: 18G-19A-37P in 43 GP Keith Yandle: 6G-30A-36P in 43 GP Who’s Hot: Aleksander Barkov: 11 points (2G, 9A) in last 10 games while maintaining an average TOI of over 23 minutes. Mike Hoffman: 9 points (6G, 3A) in last 10 games, with 4 goals on the powerplay. Who's Not: Troy Brouwer: Pointless in 7 games, with only 2 points (1G, 1A) in his last 11, despite elevated playing time due to Bjugstad's injury. Jayce Hawryluk: After scoring 2 goals against Chicago on Dec 23, has only scored 1 in his past seven. Who to Watch For: Roberto Luongo: Amidst rumours of potentially retiring (or Robidas Islanding...) before the end of his contract, this may be the last time we see Luongo Play in Vancouver. Mike Matheson: Watch for a potential score settling for his terrible actions against Pettersson during the last game. The team: Watch for the team to come out running in order to snap on ongoing 5 game losing streak. Sick Bay: Nick Bjugstad: Upper body injury, could possibly return for tonight's game but is still considered day-to-day. Vincent Trocheck: Skated for the first time last week after fracturing his ankle on November 19, no timeline for return Derek Makenzie: Shoulder surgery on October 26th, out indefinitely Jamie Mcginn: Back Surgery on September 14th, out indefinitely And now for some extra stuff... Go Canucks Go!!! Tune in next time for...

King Heffy
Hopefully Matheson made reservations in the ICU. Anyone who ends that gutless piece of trash's career should get the Masterton.
ruilin96
Going to the game, and will record the fight (if there is one). Also looking forward to possibly see Lou one last time in Vancouver.
mll
There's been some changes to the lines at practice today. Hutton-Gudbranson has also been broken up. Leivo could return but Pettersson has been ruled out.
*Buzzsaw*
Canucks should not goon it up versus Matheson. He was given a suspension, the league took action. Canucks should certainly take any opportunity to legally paste him into the boards... Jake would be a good candidate to inflict some hits. But as far as deliberately targeting him with dirty plays... or having Gudbranson provoke a fight... no.

Slegr
The combo of Goldobin and Baer in this line up makes us too soft in my opinion. It doesn't translate well in the win department.

And Bertuzzi effectively ended his career in Vancouver and our chances of a Playoff run. Of course Moore was a POS... but unfortunately Big Bert let his emotions get the better of him... which was a tragedy. Better for Bert to make a nice clean HEAVY hit some time later in the game and Moore would have been out just as effectively... without the suspension... and Bert's number would be retired and hanging from the ceiling... and we might have a Cup Banner alongside it. cleowin
Tomorrow's playoff implications: WPG Beats ANA in regulation* VAN beats FLA in any fashion CGY beats ARI in regulation This scenario ensures that Vancouver will tie MIN for WC2 and only be 1 pt back of WC1. But MIN will have 3 games in hand on Vancouver still.
