Orca beats shark. Puh, I have a hard time to believe that this actually can happen. Lot's of real good veteran players on the Sharks roster. Lot's of firepower up front. Can't even remember the Canucks last win against the Sharks. Must have been months, maybe even more than one year ago.

T-Bo
Glad the got the win in LA, but they did not exactly smoke them. The big difference in this game will be the play of Marky, can he steal a game. Hopefully the last loss to the Sharks is still recent enough that they did not forget their lessons. Win or lose, lots of young exciting players on the Nucks to talk about, hoping for some growth moments to chat about later! Go Nucks!
SingleThorn
Very interested to see the 6 dmen. Would like to see Brisebois again. What are TG's plans for Schenn ? If Schenn plays, does it reduce Stecher's TOI to a more reasonable level ? Thought Pouliot looked very comfortable paired with Biega in the LA game. NHTyrany
Thank you for the GDT, I really look forward to this one. Key things to look for are: will the Sharks look past this young AHL roster; will Marky continue his stellar play; will the teams eventually open up and start trading chances; will the reffs determine the outcome or be professionally neutral; and will Pettey get another goal? T-Bo
Just read that Hughes could be joining the Canucks in March. If he comes in with the expectations Pettersen came in with, and accomplishes just half of what Pettersen has to date potential wise, that is quite a story to end a season with regardless if they make it into the playoffs or not. Injuries or no injuries, I don’t think Edler or Tanev are going anywheres. There are other options to make room for our defensive prospects. If we had three or four top D, this would be a different conversation. I have read a lot of opinions on different forums about the value of some of our ‘tradeable players’ at the TDL, I also read a lot of reasons why a lot of other NHL teams will not consider them to be valuable, mainly for the same reasons we don’t see them as being valuable. Some good discussions. I personally expect to see more Josh Leivo type deals, tweaking. We stand a better chance of helping other teams AHL teams then their current NHL teams roster. Build baby build! Go Nucks!
