He deserves to test the waters.. chances are nobody else watched his last few games with us.. but for me, I’d sign him term up to 3 years but moveable.. *Buzzsaw*
I would not be surprised to see Schenn end up in Toronto again. He played there for many years and his cost fits Toronto's budget. I'd like to see Vancouver get him on a 1 year contract, but I expect he wants a longer term.

Quint
If you are signing for minimum and 1 yr makes sense to do it with a shot at a cup. Good luck Luke!

Ossi Vaananen
I'm thinking it's the Florida tax law that appeals to Schenn. We would have had to offer north of a million to compete.
JesseBlue
and he signed for almost the league minimum...we couldn't sign him for 2 years at 1.6M total??

Benn has already said he is ready to step up and act as a big brother to some of the Canucks rookies. Edited July 2, 2019 by *Buzzsaw* 2

nux_win
I like bringing back Luke. He may not be fleet of foot, but we've got one of those. What he brings is that he doesn't put up with any crap, has the strength to clear the front of the net, and he hits hard. His hits are like two of anybody else's. He's perfect for a seventh guy because we know what he brings and he just has to play his game and let the other skill guys do their thing. FlyLow_
Good guy to play against teams like St. Louis, and just an all around good guy.
