Whos remembers Sean Day

Dang, that's a name we haven't heard in awhile.  Seems like his hockey sense was/ is his biggest flaw.
Shane's a 6', 183 lb forward at age 15, hope we at least entertain the idea of gambling for potential, and hope he has the right nurturing environment and mindset to put it all together.

Have a feeling that when bedard is up, he is also gonna be turned down unless he scores like 300 points or something and has the willingness to go the place where good hockey prospects go to kill off their nhl dreams in prince george. Aka the oilers of the dub.

Nope. Hockey Canada went full dumbass on that. Savoie is more then good enough to play in the dub but they let politics get in the way.

It’s an absolute joke really. I can almost guarantee it’s because they don’t want him to be a Cougar.

Not that exceptional status really matters. Best Canadian players in the league right now never had exceptional status for except Tavares maybe.

I seriously hope you aren't insinuating Tavares is better than McDavid
