So he "proclaimed it". Which is different than Notley tabling roughly the EXACT same legislation but not acting on it how?

https://www.cheknews.ca/alberta-premier-rachel-notley-to-introduce-legislation-that-could-drive-up-b-c-gas-prices-439957/

When you say edit your posts or disappearing act.  Do you mean look like a tool then say stupid things like "you support socialists" then vanish for a day?

Actually, if you do what the NEB wants Alberta hurts first.  That's how energy transfers and transfer fees work.  BC sees a higher price, Alberta sees thousands out of work and hundreds of thousands of dollars lost to its economy a day.  BC sure, we will have to buy from Washingtons Ervine line and Cherry hill facilities.  But now that the summer maintenance is over and California is once again getting oil from Back in Texas Washington has far less demand than it did a week ago.

Facts never seem to support your ramblings.

As a heads up, the reason Notley did not carry through with that legislation is because of the items I just noted.  meaning she was acting in her peoples and the provinces best interests.  Sad to think that some evil woman was smarter than the trailer park assistant supervisor eh

Lol the ndp loving @Warhippy spewing his nep garbage that caused major issues and is insanely unpopular in Alberta. But the BC guy who has never stepped foot on a lease can tell us whats best for Alberta.

Because I didn't literally just call that at all.

please, do tell me where my "NEP loving post" is factually wrong Strome.  Honestly, I would LOVE to hear how your well thought out and no doubt incoming detailed response proves that timeline wrong, those facts or wrong manages to dismiss the fact that the NEP would have in fact saved a lot of issues seen the last 30 years.

So please do me proud son.  I'd love to hear what a BC transplant who is obviously more hat than cowboy cooks up in response to that :)

All good, Hip....fighting the good fight, as it were....;)

Well I mean I could have said in his moms basement, where he claimed he was living and collecting money for it but that would be lost on a few people so I went with the obvious route.

You like using son a lot hey? Given you're younger it seems strange. I have explained this to you twice before with multiple links you crave so much.

You have a terrible memory...

Still waiting Son.  Explain how I am wrong.  how that timeline is wrong.  How the NEP wouldn't have saved a lot of issues.  Then explain why Alberta and people like you are screeching for an NEP.

I don't have the time atm. Just go back and read what I told you. You can also ask yourself, son, why doesn't anyone other than hippy the socialist support the nep.

Gee maybe inflation might have been a issue lol.

Uh huh.  I'll be sure to come back later when you "have the time" to educate me with facts of your choosing.

Until then.  I guess we will have to wait for youf to grace us with your presence again.

(quick heads up, your tell for when you literally have no argument is when you resort to that line of statement.  every single time you get shown to look foolish you resort to saying things like socialist loving, or NDP supporting or the like and you do it with everyone who makes you look foolish)

@Warhippy u argue with so many on here and no matter what you always think you're right, lol that will work well for you in Alberta haha... You better move to Edmonton.

Well look at that, you had time to come back for one more puny screeching jab.  It's like a visual manifestation of the victim noises coming from Alberta right now.  If only you had the time to do a very simple google search for articles supporting your statements and came back and said here, see this is the argument I am presenting.

but no...instead you just come back and do what todays right always does.  Attack, screech, whine, engage attack and run.

I guess there's nothing left to do but wait for the other two to pop in.

One to explain why their life experience says everyone is wrong and then go on to a long winded explanation why their life experience says we're all wrong backed up by links which seem to support their statements in some paragraphs but over the whole body of them disproves them

The other to explain why they hate Vancouver and have issues with Mary Antoinette and why their kids are better off in private schools because he's so much better than the rest of us

Time to go enjoy the sun then :)

My favorite will be how he will promise BC that it will achieve lower costs on gas in the lower mainland.  Because he will be unable to explain how that will happen when the Burnaby refinery can only service roughly 30% of the entire GVRDs fuel needs per day and is NOT EXANDING with the pipeline

4 hours ago, riffraff said:

Exactly.

You guys do realized that the pipeline has the ability and currently does (at some extent) ship already refined products. In fact if you actually did the research and read the National Energy board report on the trans mountain expansion. It was proposed that line 1 (the existing pipeline) was going to almost solely ship only refined products and some light crude in different batches. Up to 350,000 barrels a day.

Aka is means that line 1 could easily supply more than enough, thus lowering the price (depending on how nice Alberta feels towards BC).

My favorite part is watching hippy think he’s smarter than everyone because he read the odd CBC report. Too bad it’s his lack of understanding always makes him come up lacking and looking like a elder ranting on something he saw from Facebook.  You are so clueless on this topic its become a treat to come here and watch you ramble about your nonsense. The sad part is when that nonsense spreads which is when I have to jump in and correct things. Anyways carry on. I’ll be back in a few days to shut down some other garbage you will be whining about.  Haha

It's not up to BC and a majority of BC supports the project.

thats what the polls say, a slim majority. Which will evaporate if Kenney follows through with the taps threat. Its probably the #1 most impactful thing he could do to turn soft support in BC against him.

Ya she was smart... Lol smashed in the election. But it's warhippy and he must be right even though he was wrong yesterday and still chose to act like an ass.

Your own government went to the coirts and were told that at this point it's hypothetical until it's proclaimed.

Yesterday was hilarious. He misread @canuckistani claim and got super trigger only to make himself look foolish. Even when it was pointed out, he stuck to his guns. Guy is stubborn. He’ll fit right in with the rest of us albertans.

But...polls.  Am I right?

Bloomberg and oil futures are predicting a very very rough ride for oil over the coming 6 months.  supply increased over the last week of april.  But even with the iranian tariffs being cancelled and the issues in venezuela Suadi arabia and the OPEC 6 have promised to ramp up production.  Gazproms new lines are coming online as early as June as well as their western upgraders.

All in all production is set to actually increase in the supply lines with central/eastern europe and the ME picking up slack.  Couple that with increased US production, record production in fact in the permian and I wonder how Kenney will achieve any of his promises.

Yep. BC has it's share of FU rednecks too. Anyone who's spent any amount of time in Williams Lake or Duncan will know that.

You catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar. Seems like a lot of Albertans are substituting the honey for something else that flies are attracted to.

my brother in law used to live up in Williams Lake. Not a crowd i'd go looking to piss off thats for sure

I just see the whole AB stance as so unnecessary and based on mythology. If they came to the table with the intention of a real partnership so much of this could be avoided.

53% of Vancouverites use transit and it's growing.

Electrical vehicles such as Motorino bikes are skyrocketing. They also offer a 35% government rebate. I will be grabbing one when I move to the Island for my short commutes.

So, there is some good coming out of these higher gas prices and silly threats.

I want to echo that the snarly nature and bullying approach that seems to be continually coming from AB is getting tiring. It's not going to stimulate support... act like adults already.
