Just found out on Sportsnet 650 that Pettersson has been shut down for the season due to a knee injury. Petey was complaining about recent knee issues and team doctors suspect slight ACL damage. He might have to undergo surgery. This likely explains his lack of production and explosiveness. Likely caused by rushing back after his initial injury in Montreal.
