R3aL Posted April 5, 2019 Share Posted April 5, 2019 Everyone Quinn Hughes will get pp1 time eventually. our first unit has put a lot of work and time in to practice together; and when it didn’t have edler it sucked! its good for hughes to be on the second unit right now, cause frankly it has sucked. And look at that he is breathing life into it. its also second unit pkers and less time so good for Hughes to get his feet wet. he will get pp1 time soon enough!! Just getting Gudbranson and his salary out of here was a win, but replacing it with a still young-ish player that can play with Bo, but up solid numbers and help anchor the 2nd unit powerplay? If Pearson can keep it up going forward, this might end up being Benning's best trade so far. And yup, Hughes is awesome. It’s sucked with Edler when he came back. I’d argue our first unit missed Baer more than it ever missed Edler. I swear that guy is legally blind in his left eye, never feeds Boeser.
