Ever visited Seattle? Pleeeeeenty of crack to go around.

Seattle. Portland. San Francisco. Vancouver. All currently in an opioid and homeless epidemic. It doesn't take a genius to recognize the correlation.

Lol at people casting shade on homeless people and drug users.

Honestly, when was the last time a homeless person has ruined your day?

Maybe consider what's so wrong with your life that you need to scapegoat vulnerable populations and work on a remedy--just like you expect these people who are up against the world to do.

What about the human pathology compels us to blame people for their circumstances when we know nothing of the individual context that led them there?

You don't know the circumstances that lead them to addiction though. Being homeless isn't something they've chosen as a career path.

Homelessness increased as support and funding for mental health declined over the last couple of decades. Those with mental health issues aren't being housed and supported, left to their own devices and usually turn to drugs to "make them feel better" because nobody is looking for them.

Drug dealers recognize this and prey on them.

The NDP has been working to reimplement the support structures which the Liberals spent 16 years tearing down, so it's bound to take a lot of time, but at least they say they're working on it.

Greek mythological creatures as possible names

Hydra     a many-headed, serpent-like creature that guarded an Underworld

Tritons   son of Poseidon half-man and half-fish.

Typhons   an extremely savage and terrifying monster with snake-coils instead of limbs

Karkinos      a giant crab which fought Heracles

Heh you are the youngster.  WhenI think of Clash of the Titans, I think if this version,....

I was in grade/elementary school back then.  I watched that version a bunch of times on HBO and TBS growing up.  I wasn't a big fan of Harry Hamlin's portrayal of Perseus.  Oddly enough though I remember absolutely loving that metal owl that Athena gave him.
