So far the difference in this series is depth.

Sharks have good player up and down their lineup... all lines, all the D are solid.

The Avs have one line which is in the top three in the league, but not much past that.

Sharks are missing in Pavelski the guy who has been their top scorer for the last 5 years and are still rolling.

The fact they have guys everywhere who can score is a definite advantage.

The Sharks big question mark coming into these playoffs was Jones in goal... he had a lousy season.  But he has turned around his game in the second round and is right now the key to their wins.

If Jones can keep this up, then they have a really good chance to go to the finals again.

Also, Karlsson is playing better and better every game... its clear he is getting healthy again.... if he can get rolling, then that will be gamechanger.

?

if Erik Johnson, Tyson Barrie, Cale Makar,  Sam Girard (Cole, Zadorov) = not much - then there are probably a few teams out there that could use a little more not much.

So, I'm curious to see what those who were defending the 5 minute major that got the Sharks into this round think about Little Joe's comments:

Quote

"Was it a five-minute major? No, I don’t think it was," said the San Jose Sharks captain.

"Am I glad they called it that way? Heck ya."
