Yes a few good policies but I could count them on one hand.

One is a guy way past his prime.  The other is a real piece of work....:re: Pandemic deaths.  Urine man says:   "If you look at the death totals, it ain't so bad if you take out the states that didn't vote for me".

Yep.  Anyone who equates human life to disposable and numbers based on voting history is a real piece of....work.

You have to have empathy, compassion, the ability to listen, adapt and change (evolve), etc. in order to be a good leader.  And the basics in grammar and reading comprehension are also important.

I'm sorry, but a guy who doesn't demonstrate any signs of being a decent human being doesn't even deserve a look.  You can have a few good policies in place but if you're lacking in empathy you likely don't cover all the bases.

A guy who says scientists may not know what they're talking about needs to back that up.

A man who is such a narcissist that to say and I assume actually believe that he knows more about the military than the generals has no business being a leader. Dragged out back and given the ol'Yeller treatment perhaps.

Didn’t know there were 2 Trump threads on the forum lol

...just like Biden’s town hall yesterday, anything related to him somehow ends up concluding to Trump.

Lol, we're talking about both, haha, as they are, hehe, going to run against each other, hoho. Biden's name, guffaw, sometimes shows up in the Trumpy thread too, lmao.

He is the incumbent.   That's kinda how it works.  Here's what I'm going to do and here's why the incumbent has been terrible.  At least the DNC produced a platform.   The GOP just rolled over the 2016 platform.

That's how it goes when you get nothing done except a tax cut to the rich.

Cause this election is a referendum on Trump.

No one wants or likes Biden either. He was pushed down our throats by the establishments that fear mongered about how the GOP will label anyone else a communist.

Guess what, Biden is labelled a communist by the GOP anyways.

He has the best chance of beating Trump, that is why he was “pushed down” by the establishment.

Who else was going to be the nominee?

Yeah, I don't really agree that he was the "establishment" pick. I think the party wanted a moderate and he seemed like the most electable of these.

I was pulling for Harris or Klobuchar, but I prefer JB over Bernie. I believe the GOP actually could have sold the electorate on an anti-socialist campaign if Bernie had become the nominee.

I think Warren is the smartest candidate by far, but she's boring. I don't think she could inspire enough voters. That being said, if JB wins, he'd be crazy not to offer her an important place in the administration.

Harris, Castro for example.

Castro in California and Texas primaries placed 9th and 7th, two states that have Latino majority.

I am not going to mention places like NH where he got 83 votes.

KH as a woman and visible minority in 2020 which is the most polarized election ever is not beating DT.

I actually donated to Yang, very smart guy.

Klobuchar lost me with her Minnesota nice routine.

Goobers are calling Biden a communist also but no one with the brain believes that.

Those that do are voting for Donny boy anyways.

BS did campaign for the communists so that would not bode well amongst the general population.

With Biden you are hoping to appeal to working class, rust belt, Blacks, Midwest, Catholics, those that voted for DT but have buyers remorse etc.

I really like Yang, but I think the UBI would have sunk him in this election.

All of the "radical" ideas are non-starters IMO, at least for this election. That's why I was against Bernie, as well.

What's the quote?

I think it came from this;

“If you give a climate arsonist four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised if we have more of America ablaze? If you give a climate denier four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised when more of America is under water?” Biden asked.

“Donald Trump’s climate denial may not have caused these fires and record floods and record hurricanes, but if he gets a second term, these hellish events will continue to become more common, more devastating, and more deadly,” the Democrat insisted.

“Meanwhile, Donald Trump warns that integration is threatening our suburbs,” Biden said, referring to Trump’s attack on Biden’s plan to federalize local zoning (which poses a serious threat to local control of neighborhoods in the name of racial integration). “It’s ridiculous. But you know what is actually threatening our suburbs?”

“Wildfires are burning the suburbs in the West, floods are wiping out suburban neighborhoods in the Midwest, hurricanes are imperiling suburban life along our coast,” Biden said. “If we have four more years of Trump’s climate denial, how many suburbs will be burned from wildfires? How many suburban neighborhoods will have been flooded out? How many suburbs will have been blown away in superstorms?”

Just needs to master earth bending to stop Earthquakes

I wonder if he actually said that....

In any event, all one has to do is believe in science and start to address Climate Change, rather than pretend it's a hoax and you're on your way to fulfilling that promise.

Honestly, I thought you were above this sort of tripe.

It’s a last air bender joke.

Its obvious that Biden is implying that he’s going to use science to help slow the effects of climate change.  No one can band the elements (as far as I know )
