Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and referee integrity becomes a factor in CBA negotiation?  If the NHL refuses to hold their officials accountable for their actions, maybe the NHLPA needs to step up and be more involved in the process.

If they didn't see it what do you want them to do?  It's not a reviewable play.

They have to allow video review of things like this....who cares how long the games take....get the effing calls right!

Reminds me of 89 and Otto... Nothing can be done after the fact but how all the officials on the ice miss it is just brutal.

Open their damn eyes.  Maybe the ref cam should be there to ensure that they aren't lying when they said they didn't see it.
