We will look at making their roster compliant in any way, unfortunately this was one of the best ways for this team. We made a strong push to get him on board since the start of NHL training camp and we firmly believe this is a great fit for both us and the player. Marino will report to AHL Wilkes Barre-Scranton to start the year and hopefully will earn a call up. He is currently pencilled in as our 3rd best RHD on our depth chart going into next season. In other news, teams in need of AHL warm bodies should contact us! We have plenty of guys who should bounce between the leagues in the event of injury. We'd like to find a taker for Sam Gagner, who unfortunately was cut from the Oilers despite a great showing at camp. We anticipate his call-up soon depending on how Tomas Jurco's injury plays out. He's available for free to anyone who wants to take the gamble and has the spare room. We're also looking at options for moving out a defenceman. Most likely to be moved would be Brayden McNabb if anyone needs a minute muncher on a playoff team. We would also entertain offers on Scott Harrington, who has 2 years left at a reasonable price and played in 73 regular season games last year.
