Primal Optimist
This post marks the cutoff point for any waiver claims dating back to yesterday's 'big waive' of 9am. SHortly a waiver wire radio post will declare successful claims however players who made it through will NOT be called out. If your waived players is not mentioned in the next post it is safe to assume he cleared. If you think there was an error in my next post, message me and tylez about it, we will sort it out. Thanks.
Primal Optimist
Three players waived just prior to the big waive: @Canuck Surfer Casey DeSmith has been claimed by Carolina @Tigs @Art Vandelay Dan Hamhuis has cleared waivers. @Primal Optimist Jani Hakanpaa has been claimed by Anaheim: as the player was previously claimed by Primal and re-waived, Kobayashi Maru can place him immediately in his minor league by league rule. Claims from the Big Waive with explanation of waiver priority effects: @D-Money @Monty Minnesota successfully claimed Radek Simek from the Capitals, and drop to the current bottom of the priority list. @Dion Phaneuf Boston successfully claimed Lukas Radil from Montreal, and in so doing drop to the current bottom of the priority list. @Tylez Columbus successfully claimed Kurtis MacDermid from the Sharks, and in so doing drop to the current bottom of the priority list. @kj29 Los Angeles successfully claimed Teddy Blueger from Montreal, and in so doing drop to the current bottom of the priority list. @Rush17 Nashville successfully claimed John Gilmour from Carolina, and in so doing drop to the current bottom of the priority list. For those above who had a few claims in during the big waive: your first successful claim knocked you below anyone else with a claim on your 2nd and third claim targets. Thus the waiver wire winners are spread around nicely. Anything you don't follow or if i made a mistake, message me and Tylez please and we can look into things. Thank you all for your patience and good luck as we enter Opening Day!!!!!

Caboose
Don't want to be that guy but Ottawa GM hasn't been online since Aug 13th and that team really can't afford to lose the points. Maybe time for the league to step in? MTL GM not around since July 30 either...

Popular Post Primal Optimist
Folks, PIckuphockey's league page has been tipped by your executive committee to ensure we have access to LIVE UPDATES! This may take a day to kick in but will be active in plenty of time for saturday's Hockey Night IN Canada! a reminder our league is tracked here: https://www.pickuphockey.com L and P are: Pool Name: EKL2019-20 Password: ekl And likely for tomorrow's games and all the rest this season, we have live stats!! Also of note, I have talked up Fantasy Hockey in the game day thread last night while CDC enjoyed the game live and online..and then I made a static post about our league and fantasy hockey on CDC in general on the Canucks Talk portion of the forums. I encourage every GM to reach out to your friends on CDC and beyond to bring interested folks to our little niche of the fandom. We are down at least two GM's but with just a little outreach we can get over this little bump. Rush is working on a EKL Historical Library of sorts and we are already talking about slight tweaks for next offseason. Enjoy the games, enjoy the league and reach out to a friend to see if they want to join us! Edited October 3, 2019 by Primal Optimist 1
