Popular Post Provost
LE’s agent just said on the radio that it would be best for his client to move on. No way an experienced super agent like JP Barry says that if their is a chance that Eriksson plays here again. He would equivocate and say something along the lines of “things get said in the heat of emotions, Loui is a professional and will play his best wherever he is, including the Canucks” He didn’t say those things, he kept talking about hockey reasons for Loui to go to another situation, and that in a new place he can regain his form. Link via MLL EDIT: based on a recent interview that Benning did saying it wasn’t likely Eriksson would be moved and that he will probably be at training camp. It doesn’t sound like they are planning on playing hardball with him and he will be at training camp. In the interview he said there were a few options they had worked on but none of them were able to be completed. Popular Post PhillipBlunt
Bye Loui. And thanks Barry for being a typical douchebag agent who goes to the media to screw over the team. 3 3

Don’t think this really changes much. 1 4

You're probably right, seeing as how Eriksson was a whiny ass to the Swedish media about his situation here. I can't see another GM to excited about taking on a non-committal, entitled, soft, over the hill player though. Once he's gone though, it's addition by subtraction. 4 1

JM_
it sounds pretty exploratory actually. The takeaway seems to be that they're clearly open to moving, not that something is imminent in any way.

He's representing his agent and Eriksson clearly isn't happy playing here. We could use that roster space for someone impactful.
Popular Post Down by the River
Loui has become the least Swedish Swede in the NHL. Such a diva.

That would be the nail in Benning's coffin for me. 24 million dollar goon on NMC. 1

I'd prefer Loui be moved on and a player with the want to make an actual difference be given the spot instead.
