Odds are that's where he's headed though. Three years of riding the buses might be more than he can take. Yeah yeah I get it no one ever wants to wish an injury on someone, but when that one comes out and complains like a @#$&# about playing time and not being given the opportunities, when history shows he has been, sorry but not sorry hopefully you get injured if your still on this team to start the season. Use him as a PP specialist then look to trade him at the deadline with some retention.
