Keenan's Moustache
The trickle down effect and collateral damage as a result of the Karlsson deal - saves them $3.8M to re-sign Pavelski, but also leaves them 1 RHD short. Maybe they think Merkley is ready?
Popular Post PhillipBlunt
And so it begins. Hopefully Benning is on the phone trying to swing a deal for Dillon.

Maybe they think Merkley is ready? With the top guys taking so much of the cap (which ain't going up any time soon it appears) there are going to be older guys taking cheap deals to stay in the league, and young guys (who aren't really ready) taking spots too. I think we are in very good position to let our young guys develop properly.

Looks like the Sharks won't take back salary, so what do we give up - a sixth round pick?

That would be interesting, he may also be trying to pry PK out of Nashville, given they have only $8M of cap space and have to re-sign Josi, after which they'll have next to nothing. Provost
Wow, surprised they could get that much for Braun. Good deal by the Sharks. That sets the price for Dhillon even higher.
