Big trade for us in Boston.  With thanks to @Peaches and Leon who was our best player.

Always a huge risk giving up a 100 point / 50 goal player in his prime at 24.  But the return is relative, some fantastic blue chip parts also coming back our way. We made this trade because, as we project things, it could help us get out of the 1st round. It was all about play off potential. We want to win this year! But does afford us some flexibility in cap to rotate players & sign our free agents at the end of the year.

The real risk is when Benson, Bouchard and Broberg hit real life Edmonton, Draisaitl & McDavid could go on a four year play off tear. Where SJ may be nearing the end of their window. We hope SJ, with Karlsson & Burns has another year, maybe two in them? It will certainly be deflating if Edmonton makes play off's this year...

Also an interesting shift in youth. Valimaki, Byram, Fox, we also have Kylington and numerous next level D prospects, gives us an unreal future from the blue line out.

Thanks to the execs for processing.

Thanks for the 2 trades guys. Bringing in Taylor Hall without giving up anyone on the active roster I couldn't pass up.

Updated Panthers!!

Hall - Monahan - Bertuzzi

van Riemsdyk - Hyman - Aston-Reece

 Zuccarello- Kerfoot - Coleman

Sissons - Roussel - Acciari

Kahun - Tolvanen - Simon

Lindell - Vlasic

Klefbom - Zaitsev

Hickey - Vatanen

Reilly - Cole

Hutton - Toews

Binnington

Grubauer

Still open to moves, but less interested until training camps get underway to see which prospects will or will not make it. Any of these guys could at first guess, but then again surprises always happen...

Jeremy Bracco

Trevor Moore

Valentin Zykov

Anton Lindholm

MIN - 4919.25

COL - 4384.5

WPG - 4245.25

Near the bottom of the board for goalie points so went out and got Dubnyk who adds another projected 210 fantasy points. That gives us a projected goalie total of 565 points, good for 8th in the league. One more piece to get into the playoffs.

Cut it out, geez whiz.

Don't you realise I'm trying to catch up?

I feel like Milan Lucic on McDavid's line...   Hey Connor! Wait for me, wheez, at the blue line, puff, why don't you? We'll do great things!

small.png  To MIN: Devan Dubnyk

small.png  To OTT: Aaron Dell + Ilya Konovalov + conditional 2021 MIN 2nd round pick

*(if Konovalov plays 10+ NHL games by the end of the 2020/21,  pick becomes 2021 3rd)

Trading Dubnyk loses us some points in ths short term, but gives us a solid backup in Aaron Dell, an exciting goalie prospect in Konovalov, and yet another pick with which to build up an unstoppable array of young talent.

Plus, solves any cap worries we had ::D

:frantic:  Wowee! :frantic:

Two teams have knocked back THREE 1st rounders as offers for a key player. 2knd and top pair D men have also been negotiated, not moved. Yet?

But we did trade our best player Leon Draisaitl. And earlier this off season our 2knd best player John Gibson.  In an all in assault at trying to come better than 3rd in the Atlantic.  Boston is proving we have put up solid value offers, taken & knocked back as a trade partner this summer.

More applications required...
