Demko replaces an injured Markstrom and dazzles he plays 40 games.

Hughes takes half the season to adjust playing against large professional NHL players, but finds his game and has an increasingly productive second half
Pettersson does not disappoint, no sophomore slump. Gets 90 points and wins the Hart

Markstrom continues where he left off at the end of last year with stellar play
After yet more rope is portioned out to LE, he is finally sent down to Utica after 2 months. He again rails about Green in a Swedish paper and the fallout is that he resigns, and gets a spot on a Swedish team. We get his cap hit back!
Bo steps into his new role as Captain, and has a fight…standing up for a team mate!
Despite Bettman and the head of officiating, Stephen Walkom, best efforts, we survive all the “management” calls and non calls meant to keep us out of the playoffs.
We make the playoffs.
Tryamkin returns just before, giving us a twin towers on defence.
We sweep Calgary in the first round
Beat St. Louis in the second
And San Jose in the third
And play Boston in a hard fought 7 SCF game series. Marchand has his face re-arranged by Ferland. He retaliates with a dangerous hit in the second game and is suspended for the rest of the series.

We win the Stanley Cup in our 50th year!  And a riot free celebration!
