Thank you to the league execs for another successful trade deadline.

First off, I want to thank all the players that were shipped out at the trade deadline; especially Evander Kane who was acquired in 2010-11 and has developed into an absolute menace for our organization.

With that being ssid we are excited about the acquisitions we did make and eagerly look forward to the playoffs.

Anyone who knows me is aware DeMelo's an old friend of mine, so it's very exciting to be able to bring him on board!

Thanks to everyone for the trade discussions over the past few days. Was able to strike more deals than I expected.

Trade Deadline Update!

In: Viktor Arvidsson, Ryan Pulock, Joel Kiviranta, Vitali Abramov, Chad Krys, 2020 Calgary 3rd

Out: Jamie Benn, Vince Dunn, Patric Hornqvist, Blake Comeau, 2021 Buffalo 4th

We were hoping things would shake out differently heading into the playoffs this year but not enough of our players will be on playoff teams.

With yesterday's deals we got a lot of quality young pieces that will help us going forward.

Thanks to the GMs we dealt with amd big thanks to Curt for sticking through the whole day for us!

Buffalo bumped the Islanders out of the final wildcard spot earlier this week. Buffalo opted to sell some assets at the trade deadline. We will see how that impacts things as the Islanders, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto are all in hot pursuit. The western conference remains the same standing wise but Vancouver is quickly gaining on the Conference leading Jets with only 35 points separating the two teams. Arizona is close behind, trailing the Canucks by only 281 points.

i guess the blues are off an playoff spot by end of march.

we have 4 guys on the injured reserve, including our starting goalie, and 4 more injured players on the active roster.

bouwmeester was solid untill his season ending cardiac issues, zadina was pretty good untill his injury and top six forward atkinson also missed even he was in a  little slump.

gudbranson is hardly missed and lately aquired defender hampus lindholm was just injured the night when he was dealt to us.

mathieu perreault and colin white are the other injured players .

the blues can just pray that most of the players will return in the next 2 weeks .
