Coconuts
I hope he pushes and grabs a spot, it'd be neat to see him carve out an NHL career even if it's as a fringe guy for the Bruins

DrJockitch
Good for him. Hope he makes the Bruins and they suck for the rest of the year.
CanadianRugby
I would say good luck Brendan. But you're playing for the Bruins now, so you're dead to me.
GB5
I hope for the best for Gaunce, he's always been a good guy and a solid team player.
*Buzzsaw*
I'm a bit sad about the Canucks giving up on Gaunce. I think they should have given him one more chance last year instead of signing Schaller... who was a bust. I never faulted Gaunce's effort... he was just snake bitten for his scoring... its a mystery how he could score in the AHL but never in the NHL. Good luck to him.... he is a nice guy and deserves another shot.
Tomatoes11
We should have re signed him and dump Beagle and schaller. We have no more cap space to sign our RFA’s apparently apparently so Erikkson and Beagle have to go and gaunce is good enough for the 4th line imo. The Stanley Cup finalist seems to think he has value. For sure those guys have no clue what they’re doing...

Two way deal. Gaunce is an AHL signing. He will not play any games for the big club. Nice guy though, so I hope I’m wrong and he gets some games. Between the off season of rest and playing for a job he'll be closer to his final 2 seasons with Boston imo. Hope so. He’s gonna have to be drastically better than he was to have a spot on the team

His skating is NOT NHL calibre He’s actually fast straight line but not mobile. If he wants to stick in the league he’s going to either have improved his mobility significantly or learn to use his size and hit people. The latter was and is his best chance but he doesn’t seem to want to do it. Problem is in junior he was a top 6 player. He hasn’t accepted he’s not going to be that in the NHL. If he would just bang and crash with his size and defensive ability he could carve out a 4th line depth role, but he’s got to figure it out now
