there is no way drysdale is not in the top 10. Potential top 2 rd are always going to be picked ahead of skilled wingers for the most part.

Drysdale & Guhle look really good for Canada in the H-G.

Early in this draft year, I like Lafrienere / Raymond / Lundell / Byfield as 4 players to go top 5.

Then there's a couple high skill wingers Holtz & Perfetti (who's really turning heads in this tourney) as other early top prospects. Holtz was a top name since last year, but Perfetti is really setting himself up for a good year with this showing in the H-G.

Goalies don't go as high anymore, but I also really like Askarov. From what I saw in the pre-draft u18's he looked like a better prospect than Spencer Knight.

This draft is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory. There is at least 5-6 players that could have contended with Hughes and Kakko in this past draft. I wouldnt be upset if we just missed the playoffs this year. One more year of snagging elite level players in the top half of the draft, would set us up nicely for next year. But, i think we are making it this year.

This kid was electric today! where is he expected go in the draft? Top 10 talent or was he slated lower before this tourney?

He also scored 3/5 in the shootout. This kid is a pure sniper. He's definitely in the top 10, but has the potential to get into the top 3 or 5.

Yeah looks like theres alot of high end talent in the top 15. If we end up picking we will get a really good player.

Imagine ending up late top 10 & landing a winger like Perfetti. Still extremely early but that kid looks like a potential line driver. Pettersson/Boeser - Horvat/Perfetti as duos could really set us up.

I hope we are making it this year obviously, but longer term another high end player (via high pick) would be a nice boost.

Maybe top 5 if he has an outstanding year. Still very early but as of now I'd be surprised if he goes top 3.

Lafrienere seems like a slam dunk. Lundell is a bigger center that already played pro last season. Raymond has elite game-breaking ability, might've been top 5 last year.
