I was thinking the same thing, I posted this in the Bailey thread

seems like a trend is going on within the organization as a whole

Looking at the big picture here.  Look at the players acquired in the past year or so, in addition to some of our existing wingers.  Looks like they are trying to get bigger/tougher on both wings throughout the org.  All pretty heavy guys

Josh Leivo 6'2" 195

JT Miller  6' 218

Tanner Pearson 6' 200

Antoine Roussel 5'11" 200

Justin Bailey 6'4" 214

Tyler Graovac 6'5" 208

Brock Boeser 6'1" 208

Jake Virtanen 6' 225

Even Podkolzin looks like a sure bet to be 200+ by the time he gets here.

Perhaps just a coincidence, but JB keeps talking about getting bigger and faster....

yes we finally have bigger fast players for a playoff grind, , guys that will  throw more hits in period than loui threw all year

Conversely, there will be some periods when LE has more takeaways than some of those players achieve all year

Tell your mom to not share our private information. Thanks.

Grindr started the thread about size.

I think the Canuck smurf club will benefit from the new tougher additions...  Roussel certainly has helped out the club immensely. Tough dude.

ya ok I started the thread lol     I don't think so

Bailey 6'4 -  Graovac 6'5  don't see playing more then 3-5 games with injuries....

Apparently Markstrom took this to heart.  He attended a Sumo goal tending camp this summer - it's called All Guts All Glory .

No pads required.  They slide him out into the net at the beginning of the period and collect him when it's over.  It's called the eclipse style - no one can see any daylight.  He's up to 750 lbs the only downside is he can't tie his own skates.

By the way this is my contribution to hockey.  I would revolutionize the goal tending position.  I would put this guy in goal and pay him in Big Mac's and Ding Dongs.  1.000 Save Percentage.
