He was looking for $5, doubt he is getting that

It will depend on how many teams were bidding on him. Since he wasn’t apart of the first wave of signing I also doubt it.

we would need to replace Tanev with someone like Risto

Maybe I am missing something here:

Edler Myers

Hughes Fantenberg

Benn Stecher

(not in that grouping but meaning that as a top 6) Fantenberg is going to surprise people with how good he can play

Tanev is expendable

Yup, I'll give it to you, if this team loses Sutter we are going to be MUCH worse than last season!

If Marky has an off year would it matter that much what happens up front?  Demko is still developing.  He’ll be better eventually than Marky, but it will take time.

Me too! Man teams are not going to want to play us anymore!! In 30 years and a Canucks fan I’m finally seeing a team with some Jam. Add in Tryamkin in March, my god we are dark horse contenders. We’re BUILT FOR THE PLAYOFFS.  Not big and slow, but big fast and mean

Umm... 1994.

More like

Miller-Pettersson-Boeser

Pearson-Horvat-Ferland

Baertschi-Gaudette-Virtanen

Roussel-Beagle-Motte

And Myers is gonna play with Edler most likely.

Actually I guess Ferland can play top 6, you're right

I just wanted Miller alongside Bo because it balances the scoring.

What do we do with Sutter and Eriksson though.... too much cap for dead weight players

This is getting way off topic.

The point is, adding Ferland as long as it's a reasonable contract, is a positive for this squad. JB has so far had a fantastic offseason and is looking like he will deploy a roster than can compete and potentially make the playoffs.
