Ferland clearing Boeser outta the crease and rubbed out Hughes along the board after a whistle. Not sure if I like it or love it. Gearing up for playoffs, gotta be ready for that sort of stuff.

Love it..   just don’t hit Tin man Tanev mikey!

Weird.

I thought Tanev played every single game so far this season?

Hmm.

He got hurt the last game and would have missed the rest of the regular season and maybe part of the playoffs.  Luckily for Tanev the season was halted so it "looks" like he played every game.

At this point he’s just as frail as Tanny  I hope he doesn’t hurt himself as well as glass body Tanman.

Ferland has been training..

nobody steps on the ice frail at this point.

its about timing.

We'll see, I just hope Tanman and Ferland can stay healthy. They add a lot to our more offensive minded kids. Our defense is already suspect enough in the Dzone without potentially losing Tanev and our team toughness is Miller, Virtanen and maybe Roussel. I really liked the Ferland signing. Would be nice to see him really get going.

It doesn't "look" like anything. He played every game this season.

He was injured in the last game played and was going to be out for 5 weeks.  If the season had continued as it normally has for the past 100+ years he would have missed 15 games or more.  But if you want to actually believe he played a full year injury free then go for it.

Why would we even get a guy like this who played the way he did against us?

After hearing his interviews I don't see him lasting more than one game. I don't have a PHD but he seems done like dinner.

I mean....what was he for the flames really that year? A guy they probably gave ten redbulls to and told to raise hell.

Now....why the heck, would we go get a guy like that and keep jake on the proverbial bench? I get its a business but either ur in or ur out. If anyone thinks a guy whose been on the bench for over a year with lingering brain issues should even be in the conversation to play a shortened playin series is crazy

I heard him talking about what he went through. He has learned a lot about concussions and is legitimately seeming to be ready to play. I am sure he doesn't want to mess up his future life and neither do the Canucks. He is cleared to play by the medical staff as well as whatever specialist(s) he was seeing. According to him, he just had to wait for the symptoms to subside at high speed.

Now, I am not saying you are wrong (and I totally see your point) but a lot of professionals and Ferland himself would believe otherwise. Given their familiarity with the details of the situation plus their professional position, I am led to believe they might be in a better position to assess the risks of his return than you or I.
