Sitting in 7th place, and being a bit weak on our 2knd line? It seemed a logical move to give our roster a reward & boost for their performance with Brett. And some cap flexibility next year. We don't see ourselves as big buyers this year. This mid level deal felt about right. We'd like to wish Adrian luck! We think he is a talent guy who earned his way onto NHL rosters by also being one of those guys who works real hard. An easy guy to cheer for, we will miss him. We do wonder if he will duplicate his 37 point rookie season? He looked like he was going to take off when we re-signed him summer 2018.
