CDC Fantasy League 2019-20

Was going through some team lists.  How many years ago was it Bostn @JE14 , who is obviously good at this hockey pool thing, won the league?

His list is chock full of, at the time, secondary draft picks and prospects. That are now emerging as premium assets; example Fagemo & Dugan. Dorofeyev, Kaprizov & lots more.

No rebuild and one of the best prospect pools..

This no hockey thing has been a real bummer. But the Isles have had some positive news in regards to prospects and our roster next season, without any extensions in place (bold will either be on the club or in the AHL):

Jakub Voracek - Nazem Kadri - Artemi Panarin

Andreas Johnsson - Lars Eller - Patrik Laine

Tyler Ennis - Zemgus Girgensons - Julien Gauthier

Brendan Lemieux - Alex Barre Boulet - Alexander Barabanov

Andreas Athanasiou

Keith Yandle - Matt Dumba

Jaccob Slavin - Rasmus Andersson

Alec Martinez - Henri Jokiharju

Chris Tanev - Justin Holl

Scott Perunovich

Carter Hart

All bolded are possible new additions to the lineup, which means I won’t be going after any roster free agents once things resume.

The one bolded player who is also in italics is Henri Jokiharju. He’s the one player who’s received the most attention in trade talks. If interested, the Buffalo defender indeed can be moved. However, I’d be looking at a minimum of a first round pick in return.

Do we have draft plans? or we are in a holding pattern like the nhl atm?

We're in a holding pattern right now. If there's an announcement about a real life draft, we'll probably have to kick things into high gear pretty fast (get all 2018 draftees signed, figure out conditional picks, etc) but we're still waiting on something in the NHL.

I intend to keep him around to mentor the young guys on how to be a good teammate

Calling it. He'll play for Bill Peters next year in the KHL.
