What a stain. Honestly, it's a tough choice for biggest tool between him and Sekeres. 2

JB might pay the market price for UFA’s but he’s not getting pushed around by his RFAs. Good precedent for the organization. Can’t wait for the season! Wow 7.5 QO?! Meier is at 10 mill! This deal just keep on getting better! 3
Popular Post grandmaster
Once the 3 years is up, the Canucks will have lots of cash to pay him, Hughes and EP. - Luongo recapture will be over with - Spooner buy out done - Eriksson contract finally done - Sutter contract done - cap goes up at least another 10M by then Canucks will be in a good place for cap space. 1 4

I don't hate the contract but is BB really worth almost a million more than those 2? I'd say Brock did pretty damn good here. Both defensemen, so it's really not comparable. You can look at all the underlying stats you want, but at the end of the day, offense = more money, and personally, I'm thrilled that we have a 22 year old forward that averages pretty close to a PPG locked up for 3 years at under 6 mill per season. 1

Popular Post blackpluto96
What a fair deal for both sides. Our team is now ready to compete. I can't even describe how happy I am right now. With all the devastation happening and happened during this kid's life so far, can't believe there are some that are questioning his character and loyalty to the team because he wants to take the time and make a huge decision like this. Just looking at the photo of him with his dad brings tears to my eyes, thinking back just last year his family was in the stand cheering him on. I can't even imagine how tough it is for him and his family. He's all CHARACTER! Welcome back Brock and Vancouver loves you and your family. Good luck to Duke! 2 2

Popular Post luckylager
Beauty contract. Everybody involved should feel good about it. Side note - a mentor once told me you know a good business deal when neither side is happy, but this is a good deal that both sides should be happy about. Let's go canucks! Best to Duke, Brock and all the Boesers! Edited September 17, 2019 by luckylager 4

Was going to compare Boeser's deal to Konecny's but forgot that Konecny signed for an extra 3 years. In any event, $875K isn't worth sweating over. I love Brock but MacAvoy's the more valuable player of the 2. It was a whisper higher than I'd thought, but no complaints here. If he stays healthy, it's likely a helluva deal and sets a great standard for Petey and QH

The Boeser thread is littered with posts like these. Yeah, no. There were people wondering what was going on, but I didn't single one single post that was even in the same universe as ones in the training camp thread or the (gasp) Louie Eriksson thread. It was pretty much all civil and on topic.
Standing_Tall#37
In all honesty I thought he was gonna get 8-9/season. This is one hell of a steal . There’ll be jealousy out of TO. We’re getting .8 of the player at .55 the price.
