[Waivers] 37 players - Sept. 22, 2019

Kind of hope that Boucher gets claimed.

He was in tough with a handful of guys above him themselves on the edge of the lineup.

Might hurt Utica a bit, but Boucher's future here is probably defined - would like to see him get a shot somewhere and he might be good enough to make a couple rosters out there (after cap crunches/inflexibility hit some teams this offseason, and seemed to deflate the UFA market values as well).  The Coil, for example, have reclamation wingers like Neal and Gagner pencilled onto their 2nd line! - and a number of question marks in their bottom six, while having no winger scoring last year (and losing a top prospect like JP.....)    They have some good young talent like Benson, but still a lot of fluff in that forward group - would not be surprised if they claimed a winger-goal-scorer like Boucher to add to that mix (that had anemic production last year).

edit - and in the meantime as I typed that....all players cleared.

ON, do you know how long a team must keep a waiver pick-up on their roster?  Can a guy get claimed and then put on waivers again the next day?

I imagine they can - not sure - but don't see why not.  If there were no other claims though, the team that lost him could reclaim him and assign him to the AHL without having to waive him again.

Getting traded to a Stanley Cup contender:  $250

Playing in only 7 regular season games with new team:  $90

Not playing in any playoff games with new team:  $35

Having your name inscribed on the Stanley Cup even without meeting the minimum criteria:  Priceless

There are some things money can't buy.  For everything else there is the NHL...

More like

Plane ticket Philadelphia to Vancouver $600

Plane ticket Vancouver to St Louis $625

Being a complete loser tool douche bag and harassing porn star Lisa Ann to the point where you're humiliated on Twitter and have to block her and then riding the pine to be pittied a name engrave on the Stanley cup - priceless

There are some things money can't buy for everything else there's MasterCard.

Edit - sitting in press box not riding the pine. Don't wanna give him credit where it ain't due guy wasn't even near that bench all playoffs. Must feel weird to have a day with the cup when everyone around ya knows you had zilch to do with it. I'd be to embarrassed to accept it let alone my name engraved.
