It’s his second year in the league, and unlike Toews/Landeskog/McDavid, who were named captain in their second year. Seeing as I don't think they're going to be stripping anyone of an A on opening night, this basically confirms one of the four A's named is being named captain on opening night. It's good to have multiple leaders on a team and I'm glad that our star players are showing leadership qualities at a young age.
