I agree. I was at the first preseason game in Calgary, and I had to look his number up in the program as he was one of our better players that night.

What's going on with him? No injury updates, it's like he's been kidnapped by aliens.

I'm pretty sure the injury happened off a blocked shot. Broken bone in the foot perhaps?

If I was a fringe NHL player I would be taking advantage of the rehab and training facilities with the big club as LOOOOONG as reasonably possible.

especially if you know you were not good enough ever to play again

he is probably emotionaslly injured from that 2:33 game he played.

Imagine hiding from an NHL coach for 1/2 a season

Travis probably doesn't even know who he is

Meets in hallway

"hey coach its me Tyler"

"Oh Tyler good to see you , you'll start beside Petey and Mills"

"Oh wait, wrong Tyler, you'll play with Beagle, no I mean beside Benny"

"Who are you again?

I thought you were a little guy and we traded you"

He had a lower-body injury, was taken off the IR and sent to the minors today.

Honestly, it felt like everyone we bring up from the minors this season has been more useful/impactful than Schaller/Eriksson.

I like this kid. Big tough was good in his brief time up

He looked great until the injury, hopefully we keep him around for next season as well.
