I absolutely love the almost universal respect & love for bulldog!

Unheard of for a depth player in Canucks history who was not a fighter.

Just played with courage, pace and passion.

Good luck, Canuck for life :goat:

Short people song in my head....

Lyrics
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason to live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes on their nasty little feet
Well I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people 'round here
A fool such as I
(All men are brothers until the day they die)
It's a wonderful world
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody to love
They got little baby legs
They stand so low
You gotta pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars that go "beep, beep, beep"
They got little voices goin' "peep, peep, peep"
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people 'round here

Haha y roasted my self laughing.  @Nuxfanabroad award of the day for musical integration...

They must have really liked what they saw out of Brogan Rafferty in the pre-season, to the point where he could be the first call up, when Tanev gets injured.

Nothing wrong with Briesbois or Sautner either Chip..

Ojlevi looking stronger, Tony Utenen looked good at the WJ’s last season too..  seems to be a positive stack of talent,  some almost here, some a year away, some 2 years away.

... seems like we have a GM with a franchise plan that is laying the foundation for a true system that should have players arriving and leaving on a timely basis,. keeping us in the present, and a thumb on the future.

WRONG!

:P

(he just wasn't a good fighter but at least he took off the ice the right player!)

Loved Lupes.  He was a dynamo, a real pitbull type.  Way too small a guy to be tussling with Mario though...

he was a decent call up but good he got traded as he would have never made the team full time here

I think you are underestimating Bulldogs worth, he was our defense version of Motte and is comparable to Stecher with the exception of age. I am sure once Detroit sees what he can do, he will remain in the NHL.
