Here is the PP ranking for teams where NB was the primary PP coach.

10-11 Canucks 1st

11-12 Canucks 4th

12-13 Canucks 22nd

13-14 Coyotes 4th

14-15 Coyotes 7th

15-16 Coyotes 20th

16-17 Coyotes 26th

17-18 Canucks 9th

18-19 Canucks 22nd

Top 10 in 5 of the 9 seasons i'd say is pretty damn good and more than likely its the players trying to execute the PP rather than the system itself that causes the down seasons. Also funny to note that he seems to do really well his first season or 2 with a team and then it goes south which again I have to blame more on personnel than the coach.

Notice how his 1st year with a new team was always his best and then it consistently dropped?    I might also mean his initial plan was good but once ppl have a year or two steady his setup he can't adjust and it just becomes more ineffective?   Unless things change drastically the Canucks will be much lower than 22nd this year.

Lu didn't do that to us, it was the NHL Board of Governors who decided that.

The guy had 3 separate nagging injuries in his final season... He retired because his body was no longer up to it and his INJURIES were too severe. He should have just gone on IR but Florida had a vandetta with us and lui still was sour.

The board of governors also decided the same on the Hossa contract which was even more front loaded than Louis, yet Chicago has no cap penalty because Marian just went on IR and no cap penalty for Chicago... Arizona used Hossa to their advantage to get to the cap

Yet here we are... 3 mill for 3 years

"World most iconic franchise"

I love this team too but holy **** LOL.

Roberto did all he could for this franchise.  He was as classy as they come.  Do I love what he just did to us?  Absolutely not.  But this was the risk we took when our team offered him the contract.

Dont be so entitled.  Louie doesnt owe you or anyone else anything,  he never asked to be traded from the Panthers to begin with.  The entire time he played in Vancouver his wife stayed home in Florida,  that must have been hard being apart for most of the year.  I can understand why he would want to go back.

Show me one other instance in any sport that a guy got cheered for as much as our city cheered for Lui and I'll change my mind.

For the record, I had no problem with him going back to Florida. They became my favourite American team immediately after he went back. My problem was with all his injuries, he should have just gone on IR like Hossa did to help Chicago.

Au contraire... It seems more like he loose the players confidence.

So the best thing is to let both the team and Brown get something new.

I agree with you on the fact he should have went on IR like many others have been buried on.

Hmmm...

Luongo could just have said he couldn't play any longer and gone IR.

I'm sure the Florida board advised him they would look favourable on him becoming part of the organisation, should he just retire instead of IR...which would put Canucks in sole position to be hit by the penalty.... 3x3...

As far as I can see, this is totally on Luongo. Not saying he shouldn't, but by doing so, he screwed us over...

Okay, we all know it's no secret - Bo will be captain. But it was never made official, but we're 99.99% sure.

I've noticed lately, the cockroaches in the media are coming from out under the fridge to be the ones who report "Bo will be captain!" Like they're predicting the future like Nostradamus. I find it kind of funny, but I'm also annoyed that the media can't just leave it be, leave something to the imagination, and wait to report after Bo has been given the C.

In the paper today, Kuzma went on to explain what will happen tonight (Henrik will give Bo the C jersey, Bo will shake Henrik's hand, thank the Canucks for the honour, etc.) That Kuzma, he's so smart lol, jk

Apollo, blame Dale Tallon. He threatened Luongo that if he chose LTIR instead of retirement, he would on paper send him down to the minors. And that would damage his legacy and status in the league.

There is a more detailed video on YouTube about this by legorocks99. Search “How Dale Tallon screwed himself out of Panarin.” It’s a good video, I don’t blame Lou at all for this. But &^@# Tallon. We drafted him, gave him the chance to break into the league and that’s how he treats us. Tallon should be the former Canuck that we should never respect again.

Any one of these team athletes were cheered for as much (or FAR more) than Lu was here imo.  Not saying we didn't cheer for Lu, we did, but let's be real, other athletes are more beloved by their fans than Lu is here:

My favorite Canucks moment as a kid.  Have never felt this level of happiness as a Canucks fan since.   This almost brought me to tears I was so happy,  will never forget that goal.

Only to have my heart ripped out in OT.
