Wow - that's a Canuck right there - take note Lou

Yeah, Willie was my favorite Canuck in his days here... passed up the 22,33,17 jerseys for a #8 because the guy commanded respect, was one the smartest D men we've ever had with that 8' long stick of his, and tough as nails. whats not to love about him!

The hit on Toews when we were getting pushed around was one a many highlites

He would be a member of ROH if we didn't let him escape to win a couple cups in LA

Here is the PP ranking for teams where NB was the primary PP coach.

10-11 Canucks 1st

11-12 Canucks 4th

12-13 Canucks 22nd

13-14 Coyotes 4th

14-15 Coyotes 7th

15-16 Coyotes 20th

16-17 Coyotes 26th

17-18 Canucks 9th

18-19 Canucks 22nd

Top 10 in 5 of the 9 seasons i'd say is pretty damn good and more than likely its the players trying to execute the PP rather than the system itself that causes the down seasons. Also funny to note that he seems to do really well his first season or 2 with a team and then it goes south which again I have to blame more on personnel than the coach.

its funny how two people can see the same stats and get opposite information from it.

What I get from that is that Newell is redundant but sometimes the skill on the ice shines through anyway.

11 - 12 The hanky Danks at the top of their career with Kesler also peaking

14-15 Yandle, OEL, Doan Vrbata

16 Yandle leaves

18 the final year of Hank n Dank + Brock

So did the Sedins and Yandle make Newell look good or vise versa

Maybe Browns real skill is knowing when to let his stars take over
