I’ve noticed quite a few comments about the music at Rogers Arena, specifically the change in the Canucks Goal Song from Green Day “Holiday” to Van Halen “Ain’t Talkin Bout Love.”

Well, here’s your chance to officially have your say! I noticed on Twitter this morning that there’s a change.org petition to change the goal song back to “Holiday.”

 

50,000 signatures and the Canucks DJ says they will change it back.

I love how Holiday is supposedly "our" goal song when we copied it from other teams, like we always copied everyone's music. Even the streets have no name was copied. Finally we seem to be kind of doing our own thing and people whine about it. I will say, it would be nice to actually here homegrown Vancouver/BC music at canucks games. There are a lot of talented artists from BC, some of them are big Canucks fans and I'm not really talking about Buble.

 

I will start a petition to change it from Holiday if it gets changed that god awful song.

Ok, some won't have enough energy, but it would be good for some laughs
