Hate the band's music, don't understand why he's such a huge Canadian icon at all, but cancer sucks in general. More people should be immortalizing Stan Rogers than the Hip IMO. bishopshodan
Dad died on Sept 17. He was half Irish. I play Fiddlers Green every year on that day and think about how much I miss him. Thank you again Gord. I miss you too.

I think my fav is, When The Weight Comes Down. Maybe, Looking For A Place To Happen. Nautical Disaster is a hauntingly brilliant song as well. RUPERTKBD
Still think that Wheat Kings is one of the all time great Canadian songs.... I don't believe in heaven, but it's nice to picture Gord hanging out with Chanie on the Fiddler's Green Edited October 18, 2019 by RUPERTKBD 1

Tre Mac
Like them or not you were going to hear them on the radio lol. Nautical Disaster was my favorite and I love playing it at the beach starring at the ocean. The vocals are tough for me though, some singers I find it really hard to mimic and he's one of them.
