And not only did we keep up to them, we beat them!!!! I was was very happy to see some push back from our boys. Petey got slashed, Ferland went and hammered a couple d. Jake pushing some guys around. We didn’t take crap. The Bo has been fighting the puck, hopefully that goal changes things. Petey is getting more and more determined and Brock’s game is coming around now. Good game by Thatcher, we’ve got 2 good goalies. And watching Myers walk down the tunnel at intermission , he’s ducking the whole way, ha! The Blues have a very good penalty kill, it showed our PP weakness, we still need to work on that. Great intermission sowing the legends getting ready. Love Bert. Go Canucks Go!!! Popular Post Darius Posted October 18, 2019 Popular Post Share Posted October 18, 2019 Not too long ago they would get worked by a team like the blues on the boards and around the net. theres been a planned effort to add lots of weight and grit on the wings and it’s gonna pay off. Pearson, Ferland , Miller, Schaller and Leivo... throw in Jake ... even Brock is over 200lbs. Through Mike Keane, Taylor Pyatt, Cody Hodgson, Zack Kassian, Brandon Prust, Jack Skille, Brendan Leipsic, I've been waiting for a number 9 to become an amazing player for the team. Cody Hodgson was that guy for a time, but unfortunately that didn't work out. Miller is looking like he's going to be that guy, he's just the complete package, and truly could fit on any line here and succeed. I mean, what I'm seeing there does not look like a guy that scored only 13 goals last season, he is going to set a career best here the way he's playing.
