Next practice just set up some of these and have the forwards shooting for an hour. Loser buys the beer.

Are you saying Newell is going to buy?

I'm glad I missed this thanks to work.

We beat a team we probably shouldn't have in St Louis and then lose to Jersey, again..

Our best players didn't score.

No one did!

Demko was solid!

End of story.

But but that power play though.

For whatever reason let’s assume that coaches still don’t trust QH on the top unit.

Would Meyers be a better option than Edler? To me he looks faster and has a harder shot.  Maybe a little more dynamic than Eddie?

Not sure how we can blame the refs this game when we had 6 power plays (I hate refs as much as anybody).

That's the point. They know our PP sucks, so they kept feeding it all night like good little zebras.

And yet somehow Edler ended up back there and took us off the power play with his penalty.

Not a good game for Eagle. The coaching staff needed to recognize that and make the adjustment.

Looked tired. Maybe old legs after traveling and so many minutes the game before?

I thought I saw the Canucks have now lost 10 straight times to the Devils now , is this right?

Yeah hit the net. Lol. Maybe if they knew HOW to execute a PP they could. You know, what a coach does. Instead, they look entirely clueless. Their only play is for Edler to shoot and hope. That's it. 6 PP's and not one single good scoring chance created. Because they don't know how to!! They stand around, pass the puck, eventually someone holds on to it to long, turnover, done. That's if the only play, shot from Edler hasn't already caused the puck to be cleared.

Weird, PP looked like absolute garbage the entirety of last season and here we go again, same coach and it looks like absolute garbage. But ya, coaching has nothing to do with that!!!

Yeah..I guess that's true - it was pretty darn ugly wasn't it?!

They've got some work to do on the PP.

From a post-game interview:

"Just embarrassing," Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko said. "A team like that should not be beating a team like ours 1-0, there's absolutely no way."

It's just as frustrating watch EP40 as he feels playing right now...no chemistry yet....

some facts, stats...

...last year EP40 had 34 pts in the first 35 games (in those games he was held pointless in 15 games), Goldy contributed 32.5% and Boeser contributed 38.2% on EP40 34 points...next player was edler at 17.6%...dmen together contributed 55% on EP40 34 points.

1 point, -3

Rafferty has 3 points in 4 games and leads the whole team with a +8

He's a big guy and a R/H shot so he's coming up first. The guy is an NHL dman right now.
