That loss in NJ would have completely destroyed our team 2 years ago. The fact that they can come out and play the way they did after that (at least for 2/3rds of this game) is a testament to their growing collective confidence and maturity. Beagle was awesome tonight. Roussel will also help a lot in the bottom 6 and on the penalty kill. And Ferland hasn’t even got going yet. This is a playoff team. And a team that can actually compete in the playoffs.
