Petterson quietly going about business on a 90 point pace. Was till he heats up. We are winning games handily and still have lots of ceiling to look forward to. So pumped!

That’s why I’m not worried about him. He clearly is not ‘firing on all cylinders’ yet. It’s obvious. But still clips along at a ppg. Wait till he actually gets going! So pumped indeed

And you got to love our goal differential...lights out for nine games in best in division...

They are doing amazing, right now the Canucks have the second best goals against in the league and the 3rd best goal differential, it's early in the season but still very exciting.

Sign Marky to a four year $5MM to $5.5MM contract and protect Demko for the expansion draft. If Seattle takes Marky so be it but chances are they don't and the Canucks will have a solid goalie tandem for the next 2 to 3 years until one of Marky or Demko get moved.

Whys that? If Marky continues to play this way, Seattle takes him no doubt

What a 3rd! Very satisfying. Now to check out some highlights of that punk Smith getting lit up by Minny as a “chaser”

You can tell that his timing is off and it is frustrating that hell out of him. He's hasn't been able to pick corners like he was last year - usually missing the net or making an easy for the goaltender. Once he feels comfortable again, he will likely start firing on all cylinders and pepper the net with his laser shot. Maybe the extra muscle he gained over the summer is throwing him off! haha

Another poster had previously mentioned stick flex as well. More torque on the stick with the added muscle throwing off his accuracy. Might need to go to a stiffer flex.

More than what a more proven Schneider got us?

Teams are going to know we have to unload one of them and why.

They aren't going to be inclined to help us out at a fair price.

Schneider was unique situation......

And we dont have to move marky or demko.... we could keep both.

Our hands not forced..... and some teams need a good goalie.

Now that looks good. Calgary looking like they are about to lose as well. What's impressive is our goal differential. Big game against the cup contending Caps up next.

I want to keep both absolutely,  the question is will we lose one to seattle in an expansion draft?

Do you risk that? Do you move one?

Tough call
