Math skills according to Strome.  33.1 is 35 and 35 is 40.  So I'm right,  the NDP added 40.

Edit:  not far left.   Never have and probably never will support the Greens or parties that actually occupy the far left.  You on the other hand, clearly occupy the far right.   You support/supported the crazy right wing party that got fewer votes than the far left crazy Greens.

So from 2018 to 2019 that number doesn't grow? Seems to me 35 is very, very close.

Guys....guys....

....what's a few billion dollars among friends....amirite? B)

The whole point was he likes to pop off without sources.  When he gets called out, he doubles down, deflects, attacks the poster who called him out.  He did it here and he did it in the Liberal government thread yesterday.   Even when his white knight sorta kinda comes to his aid and the numbers dont match his initial post, he still pops off.  That's what happened.

I'm very much aware...

I've pretty much stopped attempting debate with him, because it's pointless. He'll never admit to being wrong. All I contribute now is the occasional ironic dig, unless I feel pretty strongly about something, as I did yesterday in stating that JT's "corruption" is nowhere near the level of Donald Trump's. I was told that I sounded ridiculous in making that claim.

How do you engage in honest debate with someone like that?

As far as his compadre, whom I referred to in a cartoon I posted to (ironically) signify their support of each other's posts, I stopped responding to him long ago. TBH, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been banned for all the insults and personal attacks that permeate the bulk of his posts.

by the way (insert whataboutism)

We live in a socialist democracy.  Deal with it.

So again, which level of socialism are you ok for or against again?

Socialist programs paid for by tax dollars like what again?

A.

Healthcare

Fire dept

RCMP

Education

Mail service

Roads

Highways

Water Treatment

Waste treatment

Federal Pension Plans

Or

B.

Socialist programs like,

Tax cuts for business

Tax breaks for business

Training incentives for business

Hiring incentives for business

Pollution mitigation for business

Wouldn't the military also fall under a socialist program paid for by tax dollars?

I said 35 billion. It was 33.1 in 2018. You're a joke.

Interesting, I feel the same about you. I actually use to enjoy debate with you but for some time now you have become so anti Trump that a discussion can't take place on that topic.

As for destroyer I have always found him ignorant.

Sure. It's "ridiculous" for me to say that Trump's corruption far outstrips that of JT. Impossible to debate such an outlandish statement....

Gross and net debt.  Learn.  Yup,

Yes please do learn. You are the one using net debt for some reason which really isn’t the best as it would imply Alberta could simply sell off all there assets in order to pay off total debt which is a very unrealistic approach outside of declaring bankruptcy.

Remember net debt is calculated by total liabilities minus financial assets. Those financial assets include the 16 billion heritage fund which has nothing to do with any current political party and it’s not going to be cashed out anytime soon. So you can drop the idea that net debt should be discussed at all, it has no relevance in this discussion and wasn’t even part of the initial claim.

Quote

33.1 is 40 in your math.

Second of all. Again we both agreed on that my report used numbers that calculated the debt from mid 2018, those numbers rose quite substantially by the time the UPC took over in March. In fact.

As of March 31, 2019, Alberta's total outstanding debt was $85.9 billion. This includes $62.7 billion in taxpayer supported debt.

(just to page 168)

So the fact that your arguing over with @Ryan Strome about the 33.1 billion (2018 numbers) is funny considering actual March 2019 numbers show it is closer to an added 50.8 billion In debt.

but like rupt said.

So now that it’s clear as day and there’s no more to debate, will you admit strome was right? Or will you say he’s wrong because he was about 10 billion “short” in his estimate? Moment of truth time.....

White knight to the rescue.   Could gave avoided all this if Strome could actually have sources to back up said claims.  Gives some numbers but doesn't give the debt frim before the NDP took over.  Says its now 50.  Man all over the place.  So 40 is 50.

Nice try. I knew what I was talking about you didn't.

I feel like i am watching 2 accountants at a pub..... arguing whether there tip on a 5 dollar pint should be based on the cost of the pint before OR after taxes are included.....

Bottom line - Alberta conservative party ruined Alberta legacy fund and the alberta boom and bust economy in general.....
