Yup I enjoy a successful career

and I love the outdoors probably more than most people but you are evading my question and now I’m beginning to believe you might be hiding something because you are so reluctant to tell me. Maybe that you are a...hypocrite?

Believe whatever you want.  I could care less.    You should start to believe in Science though and get informed about climate change.....

Lol you do realize that a lot of that is because of overfishing. But hey man, you keep preaching on here. You are such a gem. I really hope that you are down on those front lines with the other protesters getting your point across. You know, actually trying to make a difference..how’s the sustainable lifestyle going btw?

You need to turn your anger into something positive.  Go volunteer on the DTES or  help out as a sunday school teaching assistant. It will help you with your issues.

The problem is that Science, especially this branch of science , hasnt always been correct . Science used to teach that little rocks fell slower than big rocks, science used to teach that the planets rotated around the earth,  etc etc etc . And even now more than ever, science has become political depending on who is funding the grants as to which results get published.

At least we have some positive news coming out now today....

A number of Wet’suwet’en supporters have blocked CN Rail tracks in east Vancouver on Sunday afternoon.

About two dozen people stood on a set of rail tracks located near Venables and Clark on Sunday beginning around noon, as a show of solidarity for Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs who are currently fighting the construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline on their traditional territory in northern B.C.

Vancouver police officers reportedly visited the blockade shortly after it formed. There are no arrests reported at this time.

The anti-pipeline protesters have said they are prepared to stay the night.

Be careful, flat earth and moon hoax conspiracies may follow.  You know, because money.  They're lying to us so they can make money.  They they they.  Yet he cannot provide clear objective evidence of the conspiracy he insinuates exists.  That they are corrupting the climate scientists.

Science did not teach those things, and it was science who refuted those teachings.

not at all, what im saying is science has a history of not always being correct. as new information comes out, theories will change. Is climate changing ?  Yes....   Should we as humans be doing everything we can to limit the damage being done to this earth ?  absolutely.....   But ever since i was a kid ive been hearing about another ice age is coming or acid rain is gonna get us all, etc etc.....

The geocentric model was the leading theory for nearly 1500 years before Kepler and Galileo came along.... and yes, science did end up refuting it but thats exactly my point. In 20 years from now some of the current scientific theories will be updated or found out to be wrong as new scientific info is learned

Here's the thing, scientists don't abandon theories until the evidence and/or the new theory does a better job than the previous theory.   They abandon the old theories when the new one has been verified.  Scientists dont just abandon theories under the promise that at some time in the future the current theory will be falsified.   That is not how this works.

So if you have a cache of evidence that refutes the current theories, produce it.  Let us see it.  Let us try to replicate your findings.  That is how it works.

The geocentric model, credited to Ptolemy, was not based on scientific observations. Ptolemy was a mathematician and astrologer, not a scientist.

Climate change is understood using scientific methods. Geocentricism was not.
