Seemed like the Canucks from last year. Couldn’t get the puck out of the zone, bad bounces and frustrated players. Oh well, I’ll take the 10 steps forward and 1 step back. On to Winnipeg.

On a positive note I am liking Virtanen's game lately, he played another great game.

Eventually he'll be considered a player on our team if he keeps it up!

Not a great game from the boys. Our best players were not our best players. Scoring from the fourth line has dried up. Scoring from the D is gone. Power play has been ineffective., Lots to worry about but its early in the season. We will see what they do in the Peg tomorrow night. Win that one and all is good again.

Can someone get me into the February rematch when I visit Van in February (first time in 20 years)?

I want to see the Canucks destroy these clowns.

Elder's streak of trash games just increased by one.

Which doesn't mean much.

Pretty awful game overall. Team wasn’t focused from the start. Had a chance to overtake Edmonton and blew it.

Hopefully they are ready tomorrow for the Peg.

How things can change quickly, now we are starring at a 3 games losing streak and back to chasing a playoff spot looking up to teams ahead of us in the standings in just a couple of nights!  wow...

1st and 2nd stars to the refs.  You da real MVP.

You can blame the refs all you want, but at the end of the day their stars showed up, while ours didn’t.

Too bad they lost.

What a game by Virt. He got rewarded at the end.

The rest of the team came out flat.

Team came out with a cocky attitude and forgot to show up to put in effort in this game.  Got humbled quickly by a struggling Blackhawks team.

Our four best forwards (Petey, Boes, Bo, Miller) were probably our four worst players tonight.  Miller took a lot of stupid penalties, Bo did his usual and tried to do everything leading to nothing, Petey made a lot of bad passes, Boeser looked lazy in his battles and drifted around until he got the puck on his stick).  Their cohesion on the powerplay was atrocious, they lacked a lot of urgency.

Not a good game at all.

Thought the bottom six forwards were good, and the Dcore were fairly good.
