Sure there was some pressure, but I don't recall Blackwood having to make any spectacular saves in the 3rd.

 

This team has no answer for playing the trap, and that will get around the league fast - if you want to beat the Canucks, clog up the zone, they can't get through.

 

Can't blame this on the roster anymore, there's enough talent to do more than this. It feels like the weapons are there, but there's no clear understanding on how to execute.

 

 

Baumer and Brown should have been let go before this season. 
Clark is a no brainer. sign him for life.
This management team needs to think outside the box a bit ad go find capable people to replace those two. 
The PP should easily be in the top 10 and stay there with the guys we have. 
The defence has improved massively since last year but still looks lost at times, ad that shouldn't be happening either.
I'm sure Benning is aware of all that so we'll just wait and see. 
Green is a good coach, but all great coaches are surrounded by solid assistants, and we don't have that IMO.

I never said he should bury the captain. Just don't say it looks similar. Because it doesn't. He doesn't have to single anyone out. Those were just my comments. Of course he says different things in the room.

Nov turning out to be make or break month again. 

 

Not giving up on this squad yet.   They need to play their way out of this slump. Young team facing real adversity.  If they were playing above expectations in Oct, they are playing below now. So this team should be better than this.  Laws of averages. Fighting for a wild card spot at the end of the season is what I expected in preseason.  So I am not overly surprised, just upset about the wild swings.

Beginning of the year when i came in here it was, bennings' a genius. How about now? Plugged the lineup with a bunch of overpriced FA's which still have a lot of contract time yet. Who of beagle, pearson etc would any team trade for? What about the rebuild? While we have wasted draft picks and prolonged getting any of our younger players ice time we now have given away our #1 draft player for what? A expensive defenceman who he paid a price nobody else would.

I have said from the beginning that green wasn't a good coach he was just cheap. That's aguamans fav. cheap. How many good coaches have we passed on? I've been a canucks fan from the beginning but the owners in this town of all the major B.C. franchises, lions, canucks. and the whitecaps leave alot to be desired.

Since the Canucks are having a hard time scoring 5 on 5, I can't wait until we get penalty magnets aka agitators Roussel and Ferland back. Especially since it looks like the Canucks' bank-the-puck-off-somebody's-X well has now run dry...

What Makes a coach look good in the nhl. good goaltending and your top guys lighting the lamp and decent defensive structure. Stop blaming Green for losses.

Our “system” of chip and chase does not work with this roster. It never will 

 

we need to manage in game way better. It’s absolutely unforgivable having who we had out trying to tie the game 

 

putting lines in the blender was not going to help, EP on the 4th line? Seriously?

 

if that is atom coaching what is man? 
 

so frustrated we pissed away our start to the season now the stagger caught us and the schedule gets killer tough

Im not worried we ran into a goalie that plays lights out against us. If Schneider was in net it would easily be a 5-2 canucks win.

EP40 score a goal or two, the team wins.  EP40 keeps passing the puck around and does not hit the net at all, the team is not gonna win. 

Just shoot the net  and the puck will take care of the goal!

This game shoulda been a tie.  Petey missing that shot cost us the game.  I really don't know why Green changed that line.  I thought they had good chances, but I guess he wanted to get Bo going instead.
