It's like saying a team won second.  Who says a team won second?  That team lost the Final, and got second.  It's like we are trying to breed competition out of society.  Let the kids play their games, and winners get to celebrate winning.  The losers can work harder for the next time.  Maybe sports is a reflection of society?  We might be getting too soft, and our time at the top will be taken over by the tougher societies?

I'm not worried. I think we're in a time where we are trying to work out power sharing among many interest groups. It was easy when only rich white people had a say.

Oh no..for our family our over 40 under 40 soccer games will probably have to be over 52 under 52 because I'm the youngest at 52 of the old group.

Oh the humanity.

 

Many minor league teams, and schools have merged, moved, etc.

Life goes on.

Boomer = loud voice?  I thought it was the other end that got louder as we aged?
