I was cussing him out earlier, giving up the puck on the delayed OT penalty. Caps were tired, we had Marky pulled for the extra guy... keep going with the play, dammit. Not only does it mean extended time with the man advantage, there's a good chance to score already. No score, then Petey's line gets the rest for a full PP, and if that comes up dry, there is less time at even strength for the Caps to score. Oh well, all's well as ends well. Exciting game, and the boys didn't back down. Great to even up the series against a really good team. GCG! Best game he's played in quite a while. Petersson was great tonight. Engaged and dangerous every time he was on the ice. Hughes was great The talent level that kid possesses is unbelievable. Captain Bo with the shootout winner. He needed that. Hopefully it can be a confidence booster for him. I didn't put too much stock in the win against Nashville, put I'll put some stock into this one.
