Yeah polar opposite, he wasn't even in the Country when we practiced...

Really? Can you point me to that info?

On long, rain-soaked walks with his four dogs, Tortorella covered most of Point Roberts on foot, pondering the longest losing streak of his National Hockey League career and thinking about how to put the Canucks back together when their season resumes next week.

With his wife, Christine, away visiting their adult son, and Canuck players and staff scattered for the Olympic break, Tortorella had many hours to think at home on the American side of Tsawwassen.

This feels like the dog days of a long November. There have to be easy remedies Green could try to offset our bad habits. Slow start, get engaged somehow. Challenge creativity, get EP or Boes over the boards if there's a defensive mismatch. Anything.

If Miller is hot get him help and make a top line in the flow.

Green. Look for all those who think he's the guy. He can't get this team to go on a run.  He doesn't instill confidence.  He downplays their bad games.  And  where is the over the top balls out  leadership?  Where is even a little Pat Quinn in this guy? When do you ever think damn we have a helluva coach?

Not going to win a cup until we have a coach who is at least as good as our best players.

I posted this earlier and wanted to add to it.  Playing AV tonight reminded me of the number of times we all thought AV  is a really good coach when he was here. Green has been here 3 seasons and no one ever feels that way.  He's the equivalent of Leivo to this team.

OK, I don't want to get all weird about this game or anything. But I feel the fellas in orange enjoyed their "part" in it a lot more than the guys in white. Just sayin'.

How'd that go here again? Oh yeah, terribly. Turns out you can’t coach the Vancouver Canucks from Point Roberts, Wa...

Seems to me where the coaching happens doesn't really matter. This team has gone through 3 head coaches for 6 years but always have the same problem.

Maybe Aquaman could save some money by hiring an online virtual coach...

Yup, throw out Pearson and Leivo at the end with the empty net.

After a timeout !!!!

way to apparently send a message Green...but then again you started those 2 plugs in the key 3rd period powerplay

willie D returns in the form of Travis Green

Actually one of them doesn't count as a real coach.

Maybe you'd like Crawford back?

Or Mike Keenan?

I’d settle for a lump,of coal about now.

Some Canucks D played well tonight.

Jordie Benn led the team with 5 shots on goal tonight.

Quinn Hughes is a minute monster, but even he has to do Newell Brown’s stupid drop pass on the PP.

Myers was really moving the puck around in the offensive zone. That reach makes it hard to check him.

Nothing Alain Vineaught loves more than 1-1 games . When he used to coach here it seemed we weren’t allowed to score more than 3 .

We've seen enough Loui. Please send him down now.

What about Levio and Pearson ...  sure they try hard but zero results ...unless the net is empty for Pearson

Leivo almost tied it in the final minutes, had a good effort tonight. Probably our best forward behind Miller and Bo.

Pettersson and Boeser needed a better effort tonight.

That’s also on the players. They get payed millions of dollars to play, they are all adults, pro athletes they don’t need daddy to get them energetic

It’s not “energizing”. It’s about telling the team not to take the Flyers lightly and warn them about thinking we’re better than we are

That is not a surprise given he was facing a REAL coach

Green is a real coach... Perhaps more would actually put stock into your thoughts if you didn't resort to garbage like this...

If they need to be told not to take the Flyers or ANY NHL team lightly our problem isn't the coach.
