canuck73_3
To lighten the mood a little in here, a clip from my NHL 20 game tonight. Edler PP point shot to the shin pads. IMG_1880.MOV 1

I do agree he needs to not sit on his timeouts for so long though. It’s a first unit for a reason a coach needs to read the pulse of the game and we had no pulse at that point

Enough with taking away positives after a loss, that was him saying ‘we sucked’ for two minutes. Finally calling a spade a spade. Well done cap. Stelar
Best news tonight is our coach hasn’t been accused of racism. Although I am sure @canuck2288 is close to going there. I kid.
canuck2288
I am starting to wonder about the fitness level of our team. We had a day off between games and we looked pathetic have the players been getting into Green’s twinkies? this team needs a serious bag skate
Seinfeld
Elephant in the room: EP40 hasn’t been effective at even strength; Boeser even less so. EP40’s issue is all physical. He gets outmuscled a lot and tends to fall down when under a heavy check. The effort is still there, it’s just a matter of putting on weight over time. Boeser makes Kyle Wellwood look like a HoFer when it comes of urgency/effort, on the other hand. Dude just floats the entire game. The sad part is you sometimes get a glimpse of his rookie season here and there, but it seems like he’s just content on being a decent 25-30 goal winger. Shoulda taken Konecny...

Boeser’s defensive play has improved a lot since his rookie season, he’s never been an outstanding or fast skater, not buying what you’re selling. They both had a poor game tonight though. Everybody’s playing poorly but at least if you throw out other forwards with talent then there’s actually more of a possibility of something actually happening. Pearson was put out cos Green saw that the net was empty, and he is our en specialist ... but he didn't realize it was our own net
