I seldom complain after games, but that was one lack lustre pile of P!$$....

Demko fighting on his own....

With Sutter, Ferland, Beagle and Roussel about to be fit, its a bad time for the personel on trials to not show up...

If your P!$$ ends up in a pile then you've got bigger issues to deal with than watching a bad hockey game kid...

I wasn't “fervently defending” Eriksson, nor did I ever call him a pk specialist, I would point out at least he wasn't totally useless though, like people were calling him last season. Cute story though.

He regressed this season, and is barely noticeable at best.

Whatever dude. You were the biggest staunch defender of Loui on the CDC. You probably had his poster on your bedroom wall.

Now you deny it, but I remember quite clearly you gushing about LE's defensive prowess like a teenage girl all last season.

My god , these green posts are full retard.

So for the record,  the backpass is working just fine seeing as our powerplay has been one of the best in the league this year, and we are still having a good year so far overall.

You guys need to get your prescriptions refilled or something. Green is the best coach in the league after a good game , and a pariah after a loss two days later  . Its hilarious.

Every single team in the nhl uses the drop pass on the powerplay

He likes LE because he used to play well in Boston.

It’s not “energizing”. It’s about telling the team not to take the Flyers lightly and warn them about think we’re are better than we are

You think these guys who have had the last couple of days to prepare for

the game and we’re in video room meetings and tons of other in ice in room meetings didn’t know not to take them lightly?

you think they just arrive st the game and go “oh let’s just take this team lightly but if our coach tells us not too, we won’t! “

How do we even know if were better then philly? They’ve finished higher then us in the standings and absolutely dominted is today regardless of the score. So even if we “didn’t take them lightly” as you’re suggesting we did who knows.

the Canucks seem to have problems in their eastern road trips or metro teams in general or Teams witja. Specific style.

Coach didn't say go team though, no way we would have won without that. :bigblush:

Lol, seriously though....

i mean I get people ripping on green, but these guys effort levels is on them too. They’re the ones payed millions of dollArs. Coaches are responsible for strategies in gme adjustments, tweaks and line control. Yes motivation can be apart of it but they know to be motivated by now. No one goes into a game anymore in today’s NHL and says go temselves “we don’t have to try tonight.”

They played like they were trying to get the coach fired. Maybe they saw how it worked for the Leafs.

 No excuse for that effort.

Lol, nah. (About players trying to get green fired tonight) I agree with you though about no excuse, I think they were just flat outplayed. The flyers were hungry.

For playing to get green fired, the team wouldn’t just do that after two wins randomly.

Babcock was in the dog house for a lloooooong time, greens not really even close to being there even though episode are now slowly starting to turn on him.

And Toronto has beaten two teams, one being Arizona (I know they have a decent record but Arizona is Arizona) we don’t know if this will work for he leafs yet. Tomorrow they get the easiest team in the league so they’ll probably go 3-0 but after that I’ll be interested to see how the leafs do?

I don't think we mind the loss ..  cant win em all .. especially on the road ....   Its the lack of dignity and effort that pisses everyone off

Can’t win em all? How about half?

weve lost more then half our games, have just nine R or ot wins combined in 25 games (four against Detroit and la)

You need to WIN half your games to make the playoffs in this league.

we are right now on pace for 37-38 wins.

Not good enough.

we are beyond lucky the division were in because the teams who were supposed to be great in our division have been average or worse the flames knights sharks etc

also being on the road is never an excuse for a loss..

we could literally go undefeated at home and if we lose all our road games we still probably miss the playoffs. Gotta win those especially against non playoff teams

People are fine with this mediocrity, but if we were in any other division we would be in a WC spot at best.

The Canucks have been in a real bad slump this month, and its been hidden by 2 or 3 good performances and a hot streak in October
