I grew up in a lacrosse/boxing family. Forgive me for not appreciating the Ghandi like playstyle of the Sedins.

Funny, lacrosse? Is that a sport ? Boxing? didnt they do that like 15 years ago?

too bad I don’t play against you on the ice, pretty sure you would been a lot softer than the Sedins

as for the Sedins, you are laughable in your lack of hockey smarts. Naslund worst captain? When we had Messier?

Linden was nowhere the talent level of the Sedins not even close.

Keeo firing you those red neck Cherry tapes, it’s all you have left now

Hard to appreciate the cred of anyone who is going to diss the Sedins for being “too classy”.

The 2011 team lost the Cup, by

1: getting too banged/injured by the time they reached the SC-game 7 Final.

2:, suffering an outrageous ‘the-fix-is-in’ over-the-top SC-series suspension to Aron Rome, one of few remaining healthy defensemen left standing (rookie Chris Tanev played his 1st playoff game in the SC Final) abetted by Bostonian & old league-sheriff Brian Burke ( long-time foe/rival of Mike Gillis/ Aquilini-hater) who ‘advised’ the acting-league/sheriff after Colin Campbell recused himself because his son was playing for the Bruins.

3: SC-Final officials were hand-picked for their old-school/anti-Burrows (Auger incident) bias. NO progressives. Officials & eastern media had genuine animosity for Canucks stoked by the NHLOA, MacLean & Cherry who used CBC & other media sources to call good evil & promote evil as good. So much so that, a Sedin who wore an ‘A’ got 10 minute misconduct for truth-speaking to an official while an agitating pest trying to remove a Sedin from the ice got 2 minutes for mocking league rules that compromised officials were too ‘ afraid ‘ to enforce because a perennial NHL-BOG president/Bruins owner may not consider them suitable for post-retirement promotion to league jobs afterwards, otherwise.

4: Mixed-messaging on the league rule changes enacted to supposedly reward  skilled & speedy teams during the regular season, but were inexplicably ignored & pulled-back to reward thugs & create ambiguity to promote more drama & retributions for the officials to misinterpret or exploit. Whatever sells better at play-off time, right?  So, the integrity of the game,  the rules, & player health or safety be damned, apparently! The NHL is still one of the only leagues that permits fighting without an automatic game ejection, after all. NBA - no, NFL - no, MLB - no, MLS - no, IIHF - no, Jr. leagues - no. But, the NHL has fighting in common with entertainment like the WWE (fake sport with irrelevant officiating) tho! Just imagine how awesome a Tampa Bay Lightning/Vancouver Canucks Final in 2011, would have been! It may have resembled an IIHF Olympic Final between 2 very progressive power house teams. 2 colossal upsets abetted by inexplicable officiating standards let some calamitous on-ice drama, violence & controversy steal a “classier” show away from us. I will never forgive nor forget all of those culprits who colluded to rob Canucks Nation of their proper due that season.

If Hammer didn't try to hipcheck Lucic we would have won.

Hey posted before the 4th goal....but umm short memory?...they blew a 5-1 lead and a 6-3 lead.....

I got it...was being facetious.  No lead is enough it would appear.  As for the end result, a 4-0 lead after one and they had to rely on demko to play outstanding for 40 minutes to secure the win.  There is something missing mentally or structurally with this team that that is a consistent issue.
